I very much agree! Tedium and frustration were emotions I wanted to play with for this game, but very much around how much it sucks to fill out tax forms (and the endless nature of work), and not so much "unclear how to engage with the game." I think if I were to expand this, the first thing I would do would be build out a tutorial. I'd also like to make the forms themselves slightly more generous and make it clear what exactly went wrong if you do it incorrectly.

Regardless, thank you so much for playing! I'm glad the narrative element landed for you!!

I only noticed it on level 2!

This game sounds amazing, and I adore the concept! It did take me a while to understand it. I wish the lights turned green when it was time to go, instead of the textbox. I think that would help me get the timing more.

Really really neat twist on the theme! I like the idea of your health being the timer, and I absolutely adore the puzzle elements. It requires quick thinking to solve. Well done!

I do think the damage on the enemies could be reduced significantly, or their speed lowered. There were times where I died not necessarily from taking too long to figure things out, but from not seeing a projectile that sapped the rest of my hp.

This is so clever! I really like the central mechanic forces the player to balance difficulty. It feels like it has the bones to be a speedrun game. I am so bad at platformers but I was also determined to finish the levels with as few blocks as possible to have the max time.

The resolution was weird on my laptop unfortunately so some of the screen was cut off. On one level, the buttons didn't show up and I had to force quit to go back to the menu. i do think with a bit more polish and this could be a brilliant experience.

What a cool idea!! I like the idea that I can sort of choose my own difficulty. Of course I tried to do a full run on max time velocity and I failed miserably. Playing with a track pad was not the smartest. I do wish the camera was zoomed out a bit, so I could see the ranged enemies better.

I love this idea! It's very cute and there's some fun strategies. On my second run, I personally stayed by the coffin and once it was repaired, spammed bats. Sadly I kept getting a crash at the start of day 2 (looks like it failed to load the vampire hunter object).

I would appreciate more feedback on when I can spawn my helper dudes, but overall I feel like this has the core elements of a vampire survivors esc experience.

I adore the concept and the art so much! I really like the use of the theme in this one. I do think some feedback on the customer experience would be good. I initially played very slow, but I realized I could give them empty buckets and have that count as a customer served. I suspect that did lower my rating substantially but I did give away like 20 empty buckets.

I dropped a lot of frames when dealing with a lot of kernels. I imagine this is mostly my crummy laptop.

I fundamentally agree with both points! I definitely think I should have eased in the player with one super simple form to fill before there's even an enemy in the game, and it would be nice to have more clear guidance on what all the buttons do. Thank you for the feedback!
