such a fun game! i cant wait to see more of this.
i had a bit of a hard time finding out how to make the one request cute enough, but maybe that was user error? sorting fabrics by "cute" or "elegant" would be helpful along with the fabric types.
also i sometimes wished i could switch between multiple parts of the dress making process. when cutting the tiered ruffle skirt that was a LOT of the sewing step in one go. maybe if you had multiple projects at once you could do that?
i agree with some other commenters that the adding accessories portion could be better explained. is there a way to remove the lace? i couldn't figure that out after i had already pinned some down badly. i think lace being able to be placed free form in one mode, and along existing seams in another would be great.
i wish we could see the patterned fabrics on our sketches.

personally i love story based games so reading the news article was so cute!could be another good way for feedback when a dress order fails on something instead of just customer reaction. "i can't believe someone would wear something so informal to the opera!"
i think a possible improvement could be hiring an assistant at some point? if there is a step you dislike, they can work on it for you, but it takes time/money
could be fun to have a competing seamstress in town. direct competitions or just your dresses being compared by the townspeople at their functions. i think it could be sweet if it becomes a friendship story, like you have chances to help them out. they could come in asking to buy a certain fabric or accessory off you every once in a while.
i agree with earlier comments that being able to upgrade the shop would be a cool other way to spend money. maybe you could also get display windows and choose your own dresses to show there?
i loved the detail of the cat! i would love to be able to name it in the future
