Thank you! I wanted a timer/score system, but didn't have the time :( I'll be sure to check your game out!

Thank you for the kind words! I wanted a couple more enemies but didn't have the time :( I'll be sure to check out yours.

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! I wanted to put a timer in, but had no time to :( Spent too much time on the art, I guess.

Thanks for playing! I tried to make the game a bit challenging. Hopefully dying wasn't too annoying :P

Thank you! No ending yet. I intended the goal to be survive for as long as you can. Would've definitely added a timer if I had the time.

Looks incredible and the gameplay is really fun! The vibes are really good, love the slight glow on things. I wish the pixel perfect camera wasn't as harsh, messes up a lot of the sprites. I think more feedback on the rarer ores would be an incentive the stay on a planet longer and dig deeper. Flying the spaceship was also quite fun. I think  you have a solid foundation for something really fun. The jetpack also kind of trivializes a lot of the early digging and escaping, maybe should be an upgrade or be weaker.

It's interesting how yours and mine share a really similar core mechanic but is so different :)

Incredible cover art! Love the BGM and art style, reminds me of the flash games. It's good fun hacking and slashing, but I felt that you were incentivized more to do hit once and dash once, making it quite repetitive on that part. Maybe the dash could have more i-frames? Also, having the directions to where to go and the description for each place in the same panel for the map made me lost for quite a bit, but maybe that's just me being stupid. I was lost on the first location clicking on everything but the map. Having menu choices being mouse driven and combat being keyboard only was kind of annoying. Great work!

The rocket jump(or mine jump ig) mechanic is really fun! There is a solid basis. I wish the visual was a little more polished. The mine could use more visual indicator to when it is about to explode.

Interesting concept, but the controls and the basic introduction needs work. Good work on the vibes though.

Love the cute and fun artwork! An interesting take on the numerous stacking games. The awkward shapes does make it quite challenging but is well balanced with a choice mechanic. Good work!

I definitely considered death metal, but it almost felt kinda cliche, and yeah I didn't have enough time for a timer :(. Thank you for the compliments!

Thank you for the kind words! I did spent a lot of time on the art :P

Thank you for the comment! I didn't want the movement to make it too easy, but I see how it can feel a bit clunky.

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted it to be a sort of "survive as long as you can" but didn't have time for a timer :( There definitely needs to be some tweaks to the mechanics for sure.

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I wanted a timer but didn't have the time :(

Very well polished take on Tricky Towers. I love the main menu, the introduction and the score flavor text. Still, the gameplay doesn't do much special and is very easy for the most part. It either incentivizes you to take all the time to stack very slowly or just a narrow tower using powers. Great game!

Very cute graphics! Loved the music and sfx. The gameplay loop was quite repetitive and the movement was quite awkward. The game mechanics definitely have potential though.

(1 edit)

For a platformer that's supposed to be fast paced, the platforms generate very slowly, slowing down gameplay. Most of the time was spent waiting for platforms to generate. The second floor is mostly inaccessible and the hitbox is weirdly unforgiving with the awkward movement. Great music and decent visual effects.

Surprisingly fun gameplay for its simple graphics. The third levels feels completely luck based though, and a lot of levels are just hold right to win. There are definitely interesting ideas there though! The fifth level I think, the one where you have to survive on a platform has the same core gameplay as my submission :)

Basically a copy of tricky towers. Decent implementation still. It is awkward how you're allowed to just drop any number of blocks off.

Great gameplay!
