All the music and sound effects were made by the goated composer "dylbyll" ("dylbyll" on Discord), amazing musician! I'm only sorry I couldn't make his work shine, I used a low level framework for game making and got lost in the coding. This was mostly a tech demo for some libraries and abstractions I've been working on for the last year or so, on top of love2d. The masks were designed by yours truly with his amazing programmer art skills. The characters are from "32rogues" by sethbb (up here on itch)
Hi Dylan! I'm working solo as a programmer (with programmer art included).
My jam entry will be titled "The Masked King". You fight enemies, take their masks and then swap into those masks to fight stronger enemies (each mask having its own skills), very simple game loop and very simple story as well: you lost your place and the masked king and now have to take it back.
I could really use some nice music and SFX instead of downloading random stuff from the internet! Anyway, if you're interested just hmu on Discord: wiredmatt
Beautiful. How do you use the autotiles you made? I don't understand the layout or how to set them up on Tiled Editor correctly. If you could attach a TMX / PS file with an example level it'd be super helpful
