Also, I can't find the character customization menu ? I don't know if it's normal

I play for like an hours, then the game start having some problems (pnj not quitting the room, potions disapearring), then I save an quit the game, and when I relaunch there is not any save anymore, but it's still in my files (slot0.sav).
Is there a way to edit the save to recover my progression ?

Hey, I was wondering if it's normal that the game takes a really long time to complete ?
I stil haven't reached a milestonne in quite a while.
Do I need to reach one or the other side of the bar at the bottom to access something new ?
Also, my save keep being corrupted after like an hours or two of play, is there any way to edit the save to get my advancements back ?
