While I still can't find the word for the feeling this evokes in me, I did find something else - also applicable.
Fernweh - a German word for a melancholic desire to venture to a place far away from where you are.
I still don't know if it's to leave my current place after reading it - the bleak and absurd prison setting mimicking how life seems to degrade to lately.
Or reading it makes me feel inside Anguish, the feeling is the will to escape. Which as much loot as possible.
