Is there an "end" to this game?  I can never seem to reach one of the question marks on the radar.

Neat idea!  The knight acquires new items a little too fast though.

This was really fantastic and polished -- art, music, fairly intuitive gameplay!  I really loved it.

However, the radar was VERY confusing -- I didn't realize that you have to watch the "ping" direction that happens right when you *build* it, to find the general direction of the signal that you are supposed to be building your base towards.  This also means that radars are not worth the resources used to keep them running, and the best strategy is to tear them down immediately, which doesn't make a lot of sense in-world.

I would also say that if the oxygen tank units are going to be what determines where you can build, then you need to show their "coverage", probably when they are selected -- i.e., the areas that will be not "powered" if you remove one.  This was not intuitive.  Something worth adding if you work on this past the jam!

I bet it would be equally amazing and unique!  I look forward to seeing your game dev journey in the future, you're killing it with Atlantic '41.

Yep, as of 2024-08-19, this is still a bug in the game.  I'm not currently using 1.2.0beta1 anymore since it crashes when selecting "Yukon" style, but IIRC it was still a present bug in the beta before I downgraded my version.

Yep, I have this same issue -- on the beta (1.2.0beta1), selecting Yukon consistently crashes the Playdate.

Solid gameplay and great UI / UX implementation on the Playdate for this kind of turn-based board-game-originating game.  Looking forward to the full version!

Fantastic graphics -- reminds me of Myst, a bit!

Gotta say though that the follow-the-path crystal is too hard to get -- I got all the bottles to show the way on the map, I think, and I tried the path 3-4 times, and I still couldn't get the crystal to show up at the 'X'.

Great art, clean and clear gameplay, good sound effects -- very polished little game!  I enjoyed it.

I'd be flabbergasted if the Catalog wouldn't welcome this with open arms!  It's completely unique in genre and gameplay for the Playdate, and you're putting insane amounts of polish and care into it.

Clever flare mechanic, helps alleviate frustration with successive replays.

The "leaving a trail" was a clever game mechanic!
