I’m glad you liked it! :)

Thank you so much :), that really means a lot to hear. I’m especially glad it resonated with you personally. Comments like yours make the effort worth it, and I’m happy you gave it another try!

No, that’s intentional, when you interact the thought start to throw words at you, if you’re too close you get instantly hit, I think that’s why

And you conclude all the 4 what if like that, and then follow to the next night! :)

I have no words for this.

This is just very great, the aesthetics stunned me!

Thank you!! :D

I’m really glad you enjoyed the story! I put a lot of work into it, so I’m happy it helped the game stand out :)

Wow, it really reminded me of the good old days! The swap mechanic looks like Geometry Dash, but with its own touch.

The jump is so satisfying, it feels like I’m on cloud nine.

If that was the intention, you’ve nailed it!

It’s pretty good overall! There are a couple of bugs, though, like:

  • When you jump for the first time, the game freezes for a few milliseconds.
  • When the black wave gets closer, the game also crashes.

These are more like technical issues, though.

It was really a nice touch tho

It added a cool humor to the game :)

The game is really cool!

The mechanic was a bit confusing sometimes, like when you think you made no noise at all, but it still counts as a lot on the noise bar.

I really got immersed in the game! The music, art, and the way everything is put together really help with that.

Also, great choice of font! Could you tell me what font it is? Thanks!

The Reddy Bear is definitely the most useful item 🔥

The mechanics are cool! I really liked the fade style in the dream with the cubes.

The adrenaline as the clock runs down is really fun! :)

Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I really did put a lot of work into the menu, so I’m glad you liked it!

Maybe I should’ve spent a bit more time on the gameplay mechanics 🤔

I definitely could’ve made more variations in the thoughts!

Damn, I had a lot of fun with this game!

The shifting mechanic is crazy work btw, very cool.

However, I think some coyote time would help, like, a lot.

Also, sometimes pressing the shift button while jumping and moving at the same time feels a bit confusing. Maybe having a mouse click as an alternative way to shift would make it feel better.

Keep it up! Great work :)

I appreciate the feedback! :)

Yeah, I think I went a bit overboard with the screenshake XD

Next time, I’ll make sure I don’t make it too heavy.

Interesting how you turned a simple mechanic such as jump into a very complex one!

The art style is so satisfying and fits so well with the game

Nice work!

The concept is interesting!

I just think if there had a visual indicator in the first minigame of the jump force, it would be better

The transitions are fire btw

The art style is amazing! Good work

RIP Kevin

Forever in our hearts!

Alright! :)

My Game: https://wingfall.itch.io/struggle-night

It looks cool!

The mechanic really reminded me of TetherGeist! Good work

thanks for the feedback! :)

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it :)

I really had to thought a lot about the theme and how everything could fit

About the SFX, I did some pitch variation, however, I think it was so subtle that it isn’t noticeable

The mechanics are pretty cool!

Definitely my favorite part of the game so far.

It fits the theme really well and creates a nice narrative. :)

If there were more weapons, it would make the game even better and more diverse.

I felt really bad when I had to kill Nathan :(

Anyways, the idea of count down as a time in life with the memories is REALLY good

The mechanics is simple and also complements the narrative very well, without drawing all the attention

The character development is great, even with limited screen time, we get to know them well

In the ending, I got a feeling of: “Well, it’s really over” and these feelings hit me so hard LOL

Well done!

thanks for the feedback! :)

Oh, thanks for the suggestion! I’ll fix that :)

thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for your feedback!

  • I like your suggestion about being able to advance the dialogue at your own pace without skipping the entire cutscene. I think that would be a great quality-of-life addition!

  • The story can actually be skipped by holding Enter, but I realize that’s not very clear. I’ll make that more obvious in a future update.

  • Yep, the dash trail is intentional!

  • The cookies not being collectible wasn’t supposed to happen. The game is currently designed to be played with a PC keyboard, so if you were using a different input device, that might explain the issue. If you were using a keyboard, could you let me know what happened? Also, just to make sure, interacting with cookies requires holding the Enter key rather than simply pressing it.

Thanks again for taking the time to play and share your thoughts, they’re really helpful!

Thanks for your feedback! I’ll definitely consider these and work on them :)

Stay tuned for the next update!

Thanks so much for taking the time to play it and write such detailed feedback!

I’m really glad you had fun with it. Your points about the navigation, the rotation effect, and making the starting area safer all make sense, and I’ll definitely work on improving those.

Thanks again! :)

Hi!

I’ve recently uploaded a game called Don’t Get Caught for a Game Jam, but this Jam apparently have very few people rating games.

It’s playable on the browser, and all I’m looking for is honest feedback so I can learn and improve!

That’s the main reason I’ve been joining game jams like crazy.

If you have a few minutes to play it, I’d especially love to know

  • Was the gameplay confusing?
  • Were the controls easy to understand?
  • Was the story confusing, or did it help reinforce the game?

Thank you so much for your time!

the light doesn’t do anything, actually To spin you press the button 1 of your mouse and drag your mouse to some direction and release it!

I think I didn’t make a great mechanic, maybe

Here’s mine: https://wingfall.itch.io/spin-show

This was my first jam EVER, I also learned so much

Many people say the mechanics is confusing, which I honestly agree, LOL

Oh, you have to use your mouse for that!

I think the game’s tutorial and visual feedback aren’t that good apparently

Check out my game about spinning on a stage: https://wingfall.itch.io/spin-show

Looking forward for more feedback!

I’ve changed the mechanics with a small tutorial at the beginning like your gameand with some visual feedback!

If you could play it now to see if it’s cleaner, it would be great to see if there has been any improvement!

thanks for the feedback!

I just loved the juice of the game, also the mechanics were easy to understand at first!

And no… no bugs found, yet… 🤨

100%, you just type and your game pops up

Here’s mine: https://wingfall.itch.io/spin-show

I’d love to know your feedback!

Here’s some questions to make your process easier:

Did you get confused about the controls?

At what point did the game stop being enjoyable?

What caught your attention?

Do you have any ideas that would make the game more enjoyable?

Well, I think it’s KINDA too late, LOL

But anyways, here’s my game: https://wingfall.itch.io/spin-show

Gaining feedbacks is the best part to me after all!

Always open to it

I found your tutorial intuitive and yet simple! I could do something similar

I’d say that explaining mechanics may be my weakest point

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll try all of this!
