yay thank u scrumbo for the feedback! yah tbh i ONLY had the rain one rn, my hubris thought i could get more in but alas. good to know about the downtime too - rn a new wave starts as soon as one gets emptied, but i'm wondering if there's too much space within the wave itself and i could defs tighten that up.

thank u so much for the feedback!! ive been experimenting on the like, less instructions and more exploration type design of older arcade games i.e. those beat-em-ups where they didn't tell u how to play it LMAO ... so its useful to know if that's actually successful or not. that is actually exactly how the melodies work, if i had more time i'd want to add other effects besides the rain too.

yeey thank you!!

I love that idea, we already have a lighting/color shifting mechanic in mind for Other narrative things, but using it for day to night progression would definitely sell the feeling of time passing. Thanks for the feedback!!

Thank you so much for the kind words!

I love the almost-etched style, and the fish enemies! So much fun world building potential here!

I really enjoy your angle for this jam, I have a soft spot for games that can tell a grounded and complex story with a subject that's almost "mundane" instead of fantastical. Looking forward to your update!

Thanks so much!! Really proud of my art partner's work on this!

OH omg, thank you so much for checking. Definitely uploaded the wrong file in my rush last night!!! I'll see if I can update the file and have it still be in the jam :)
