I greatly enjoyed, but I did notice a couple of things. Was just the regular demo, so it might be fixed in the spicy version?
1. Sometimes while running through the orc village the orc disguise would randomly disappear.
2. I also tried to go back and replay that level to see if I could find a way to rescue the half-orc (I assume it's not possible in the demo), but it didn't reset anything. I go down to the cells and Priscilla is not there and I'm unable to trigger the dialogue. When I go upstairs, it's not raining so I can't leave. I had to close the game and start a new save slot, playing the game from the beginning, before I could progress.
3. I felt that the dialogue initiation was too sensitive? If I was too close to something, even if I had finished the dialogue, it would start back up again unless I walked away while the dialogue was going. Then I had to continue through the dialogue to the end. It would also initiate when pressing 'c', which meant I couldn't be running away from the dialogue, and I was almost always running.
4. Sometimes when pressing x to advance the dialogue, it would load the rest of the dialogue available so I could read it without waiting for it to load. Sometimes though, it would move on to the next piece before the entire section had loaded, so I didn't get a chance to read it.
5. There were a few typos during the cave scene with the Glithe.
- 'studder' should be stutter or shudder, either could work, though I would personally go with 'shudder', since stutter is most often used when speaking.
- bound is the past tense form of bind rather than binded
- tention is spelled tension
- 'enter me force' should either say 'enter me by force' or 'enter me forcefully'
- sence should be spelled sense
- the phrase it's tentacles should be its tentacles, because its is the possessive form and it's is a contraction of it is
I think there were other typos, but I'd have to play through it again, possibly multiple times, to catch them all.
Outside of these bugs, it was very good. The characters felt well developed and realistic, the puzzles were at about the right difficulty for me, and I never felt too lost. Hopefully I'll get myself a job soon so I can afford the extra cost for the spicy version. T_T
