I actually have a few weapon ideas that you'd might like

 Flamethrower: A good weapon with high damage but very short range, the enemies could also have unique death animations for being burnt alive, instead of just exploding. 

Homing RPG: Its basically the grenade launcher but with homing projectiles at the cost of a smaller explosion radius

Burst Rifle: High damage and high projectile speed, at the cost of the shots firing in bursts rather than automatic

It's nice to see the story of this game slowly getting put together. 

another weird thing about the story is that the "antagonist" somehow becomes literal Homelander, either by the flesh infection, or the explosion. (an also grows a mouth from his torso), and proceeds to activate a portal and let it spread onto earth.  ( He also proceeds  to kill 4 guys with his laser eyes )

Also, when is the soundtrack for this game going to be out?

I love that once you reach the city level, if you look in the backround for long enough, Carrionvoy will speed by, proving that the dang train didn't die, but lost some of its cars

( just a theory tho )
