Thank you for the feedback and playing! It was tricky to balance everything in the time we had, so definitely we can make improvements on that!

Thank you for playing!

Did you figure out you can hide by turning off your engine? If the centipede is really close it won't lose track, but if there is some distance and you turn off the engine it will lose track of you. What works well for me is to carefully listen for the centipede as I drive around and turn off my engine when I hear it nearby.

That said, there's definitely some balancing we could do to improve things (I think we should be more gracious about it losing track and once it finds you and hits you maybe it should go away for a bit to give you a chance to escape?). Anyway, thanks for playing and giving feedback! :D

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it! Our first game in Godot and we had some challenges with people falling ill and dropping out of the team, so there's a whole lot of stuff we wanted to do that didn't make it in, but we're quite happy where it ended up despite the challenges :D

Really enjoy this! Optimizing the loops is more fun and challenging than you'd think! :D

Cool game, love the audio and art style :D

Awesome and thanks! Glad you liked it :) I watched your playthrough and that of a few others and you're not the first to get stuck there. We know some things that we should've hinted at and there are few "totally intentional features" that we hadn't seen until after publishing xD
We actually fixed some of those issues, but we can't update our entry until after the contest (disclaimer: no guarantee we will do that).

Cheers!
