okay, that ending froze me in place. i love the way you invoke history here, and how incredibly perennial it is that forwards or backwards this story will only end in suffering for someone

I (a 22 year old lesbian) and my mother (a 50 year old straight woman) both had a blast with this book. We enjoyed the ridiculous yet endearing characters, the exciting pacing and cool turns the plot took, and of course the excellent sense of humor sprinkled throughout it. This is before we even get into how sweet and human the romance is (yes, even though one of them is a demoness). I highly recommend it to basically anyone who would enjoy fun magic adventures and/or women being in love.
