Needs more levels. Maybe one where there's a burning house on a hill in the distance and you need to fight fires on the way to it.  Otherwise good game. I liked the co op. Very ambitious for a game Jam 🙌🏼. PS the end sequence is fire 🔥

Big fan of good old fashioned forward facing sprites,  Fire breathing felt good as well.  Just needed an end narrative bit after that amazing intro :)

Wooow,  Its so fun to play.  As you get the power ups you can feel the power increase.  Though I did find myself struggling to change tentacles (scrolling would deselect all tentacles sometimes, as if it was indexing a tentacle I didn't have yet. )  but that's probably just a skill issue lol.  Also love the sea shanty

Thanks :). Glad you enjoyed it.  I'd like to balance the game and the abilities it a little better. Also you should be able to end the Phase yourself instead of waiting. Will see if I get time before the Jam ends.

Its like a fever dream version of fall guys I love it.  Maybe a little too difficult as the physics of the moving platforms  are unpredictable.  But a great effort :) 

Thank you,  we sort of embraced the jank and leaned into it because we are all mostly new to game development. 

The art is really good.   I think the gameplay loop needed to be a little clearer. Not sure what the point of the stars and bugs are.   But really good effort.  The audio and vibes are amazing though.  You knocked it out of the park whoever was in charge of that. 

Needs to have a higher mouse sensitivity, or more responsive to mouse movement then I can see it being a really fun game like the game its inspired by.  :)

I love the concept.  And the use of theme is amazing.  It just needs to tell you when you have lost because you took on too many orders.  Unless I missed a button prompt which is entirely possible.

Congrats.  Who doesn't like a good asteroid blaster!  I would recommend that you just zip up the build folder and not the whole unity project next time you submit a game :)  

Glad you enjoyed it!  Yeah,  I worked on the UI right at the end, and it was not as easy as I had imagined.  I have more experience with it now so that next Jam won't be as bad lol. 

My favourite mechanic was the one that sends you into space and makes you a moon cat. 

On a real note, though.  I love the art, and I love the concept.  However, maybe I'm biased because I have a cat of my own lol

Thank you so much.  I'm so glad you liked it.  And that you could see through the jank, lol.  This was our first game, and our collaboration was not the greatest, to be honest, but we learned a lot for sure.   We had so many fun ideas for this, like story branches creating items that show up in the world or trinkets that attach to the scarf, and gameplay elements that force players to make choices they don't want to, but in return, they get a prettier scarf.   Maybe we will revisit it at some point.  

We shipped that's all that matters lol

This was a really cool way to explore the theme, and I can see how this can be expanded on.  I was hoping I'd be able to knit my own socks.  But the music and the art was top notch

Very well executed.  I liked how the sections that seemed overly easy before became challenging as you progressed.
