1st time played on older version, quit soon after start, didnt grab me.

returned think v0.4 then quit at the tedious minigames on ship repair.

later tried the v0.6 version and nearly quit at the ship battle and cave exploration maze that can go on long but pushed through.

Start of game is a slow slog then suddenly current midgame the tempo increases way too fast with near 4new character introductions but very limited gameplay or interaction around them as if they dont matter at all or dont even need to be there, (I'd give examples however that would spoil story), but considering how much effort it was to get the crew to accept the first person, suddenly many join crew without their approval, some even getting a private or shared room right away, feels off.

Some choices also stopped mattering example the only two options of 1-rescue or 2-not result in rescue anyway therefore unneeded.

Story has some really wow good moments from the middle onward but I fear the casual player might not play past the start to ever see that.

Suggestion.
Perhaps the ship repair minigames can change to raiding towns or ships allowing player some free-form openworld gameplay here and there between story segments. This can also replace cheats to gain coin or relations. Its a game on pirates after all, not about being a shipbuilding shipwright servicing ships (that can be a separate game on its own).

Perhaps rename the topic to a Frustrating experience rather as a Terrifying experience seeing as the aim is to frustrate rather than scare/terrify. might help the developers focus better on what you want

what about a form of stock market where one can buy shares in rival companies to try to get majority share? example Plutocracy. ...which opens some management options to perhaps influence their policies to not compete or conflict with your market share.
To make share-buying harder one might need to befriend/seduce some shareholders/owners first to allow buying their portion of shares (like the carwash storyline) so players dont just throw cheated money at the problem. Also get potential ROI naturally from that sharing profit.

This is 'wow', a type of life simulator. learn about hanging out with wrong crowds and friends but also how you can influence them down the pure or 'bad' path and vice versa. ie you can stay pure/good and influence say your bad friend's dresscode over time.

Its a game about practicing penetrat.. um tactics ~ its really all about womens needs and stuff. Try not to discuss this with your parents.

Brings new meaning to "chasing down your date"..

Basically run through a mini-campaign chasing each girl through about 20 stages then you unlock a special sandbox interactive minigame involving petting, bondage and other activities with said girl.

The girls appear to have a rather interesting weakness to heart-tile matches in the special game mode which for instance makes the dancing and other biological interactions move to the next phases.. Suggest playing when alone.

1st three fights lost, 4th won, I understand its meant to be random, but some folks will immediately leave right after. Also the game name dont fit, this is not about buying and reselling ie. what a merchant does, but instead try calling it Medieval knight or hunter etc.
