The minigames were pretty fun. I know the music was included in RPG maker but I loooved the music so good choices! Would have loved to see more custom art, since I thought the hand drawn style was charming.

Really neat concept, and great artwork! I do wish there was more of a goal or something, but it's a really cool system you're showing off. I could see it being used in a larger biology edugame or something.

Really neat concept! Using new transformations to unlock more of the level was a great use of the theme. I think the transformation skill menu could have been a bit quicker to access, since changing to new forms and back so frequently had me navigating a lot of menu layers.

Yeah, the game was designed with mobile in mind, but I wanted to build for windows for the game jam. Thanks for the feedback!

Hey thanks for commenting! We realized this after the deadline. We've made some fixes now, and are continuing to extend the game a bit. We appreciate the heads up though. Cheers!

Hey thanks for the comment! I think we built the executable at the wrong resolution, which broke the UI. Thanks for pointing it out. We'll make the controls more clear and the UI scalable and stuff.

We're working on this for 3 more weeks yet, and this is the first prototype. We'll update this page when we upload the next version, we'd love to get your feedback then!

Yeah the implementation details got a little bogged down with the time and it turned out a to be more confusing than something that feels like a bug but is "not a bug"

I'm going to use this as a base for a proper tower defense game where you actually move the player, so appreciate the feedback! Thanks for taking the time!

Yeah the idea I had was something like tower defense but the "bug" is you're moving the core rather than the person, which is why you can move the shrine with w,a,s,d. But it felt not great to have the guy immovable so I eventually landed on this by the time I could submit. It's a little confusing though I now realize.

Thanks for taking the time to play and critique!

Sorry for the late reply, but that's helpful feedback! I played a lot with the tuning until I was pretty much out of time and submitted it as is. I'll work on balancing better in the next jam!

Thanks for taking the time to comment!
