I try to get relations up, but it seems broken.

Relations don't get saved or restored with saved games. If you start a new game and set relations, then load game, new relations overwrite it. Same as if you get bad relation, you cannot reload game, bad relations stay.

I hope there will be more unbirth content in the sequel, as that's been my favorite.
