Thanks!!

So much fun! I've been bouldering for 4 years, and these moves look, in a way, super legit! Great problem-solving!

There's now a 0.4.0 version with rebalanced jump mechanics. I hope I didn't make it too easy, but give it a try!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the detailed feedback! That's actually really valuable to hear.

I just updated the web build, and I'll upload a new downloadable build later today. One of the changes is a star rating (1–5) for each jump phase to give better feedback on what went well and what didn't.

The game also has quite a bit of intentional randomness at the moment. Wind direction matters—a right-to-left wind gives you lift, while the opposite pushes you down—and gusts make jumps unpredictable(sometimes there are none sometime 4 in a second). The best glide comes from keeping the wheelchair level while getting a favorable wind.

The game mechanics, items, and contracts are still very much WIP, and I agree the game can feel a bit unfair right now. Even as the developer, I only manage to consistently sweep all three wins and longest jumps in about 6 out of 10 runs. Balancing and making the mechanics easier to read is one of my main priorities.

The GIF above, where the player's time slows down on the ramp, is due to the player having used the "neurofocus" item. Normally it goes fast!

Work for me? Press space (or the button you have set in settings as jump) on the ramp. If you miss even a little(1px over the ramp), you will miss the jump. If you press too early, the jump power is low and can feel like you did not even jump.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I need to make the intro/tutorial more informative.

The controls themselves are simple, but the timing takes a bit of practice:

  • Jump as close to the end of the ramp as possible (without overshooting).
  • Keep the wheelchair as level as you can during the flight to minimize your falling speed.
  • The left and right arrow keys apply rotation impulses, so you'll need to tap them to counter the random wind gusts (you can read the wind direction from the windsock before the jump).
  • Then try to time the landing(by rotating yourself and not overshooting).

I'll definitely improve the tutorial!
