My goal is a game on the Ti 83+ calculator. It's an 8 bit z80 device, less powerful than a gameboy, but i know how to develop for it.
Only issue: it's still *technically* for sale. Probably the most underpowered device you can buy, its been on sale since 1999 with zero updates/changes.
Does it having a black and white lcd display, z80 cpu, and 24K max of usable RAM get it into the "retro" category? I'd love to join the jam, but learning a whole new toolchain could be a pain. (I'd probably learn gba/gameboy dev, but that's not my first choice).
