It is definitely on our list to thoroughly check for memory leaks by the time the official steam demo and full game release is out. Although you have inspired my sister to fix the current leak xD
Currently you get star pearls for duplicate pets but we need to make that more obvious and are currently building out the systems where you can spend them :)
We are considering a "pity timer" but want to test crystal rates and costs first to balance the speed of the game.

For our post jam update we are currently focused on refining our gameplay ideas and adding mechanics we had in mind. We want to add accessories as an option you get from the eggs that you can equip on them for different affects and visually accessorize your Nimikins with them ♡

I definitely agree the little circles are not intuitive (。•́ㅁ•̀。)! The long term plan is to place them under the the tiny island icons in the regions menu so you can quickly adjust which islands you have pets equipped to all at once without menu swapping.
For noow maybe I can just hand draw an "equip a Nimikins" with an arrow pointed to them until you use it for the first time (╭ರ_•́)
This idea is SO good, clever, and well executed. It was truly thrilling/nerve-wracking in a good way. Amazing art ♡
The only thing is I thought the polaroid was bugged because I wasn't getting any more progress after opening them. It wasn't very intuitive that you had to get 3 unique images. Maybe you could add a "try again" or "duplicate" text for the feedback.
This is super polished! I love the animal designs. They are so so well done and colored beautifully. The UI is too - I love the collection book. Everything has such a nice and clean aesthetic. ♡
My biggest critique is that it felt like I didn't have much agency in the outcome of the battles/runs, but I totally understand that design struggle and frankly don't know how you would fix it either lol.
I love the unique take on "collecting" and i love rabbit themed things.
The time limit was well balanced - challenging but doable. The added difficulty of the shoppers blocking your path was a great way to mix it up once you memorize where everything is. I could easily see this game expanding to a larger store or randomized product locations etc.

This game is such a gem! I love the puns and the art style. I was so surprised when I saw a marge shrimpson pop out lol. It has a ton of polish - amazing job ♡
A couple of things I noticed:
- I kept accidentally clicking on the buttons when trying to go for bubbles, I think a solution could be to make the tank shorter or skinnier and put them above/below/or beside the tank instead of inside
- The Eelton John swaps to the Hello Catfish hungry model when hungry. I thought I lost my eel lol

The other island isn't currently available - we probably should have added a "coming soon" text for it to make that more clear and will add that to our list.

Were still ideating and building additional mechanics and progression for sure. One area of debate is whether or not we should create a railroaded storyline or if we should only add lore passively like in the Nimikins descriptions. Would you have a preference?
This game is super polished and well done. The gameplay and art style perfectly pairs with the opposites attract theme. Our team had the same idea for a 2 color puzzle game about 2 cats but I think yours is more polished and the cats are so cute ;-;
The only thing I can find to nitpick is that I think the stroke/outline on the white cat could be thicker. I am not sure if it is intentionally much thinner than the white cat but black is also constricting so you normally need to make lines a bit thicker than you would need to on a white background to get the same visual thickness.
Amazing job! I love the art style of the 3d models, it's super cute and true to classically girly aesthetics. My 7 year old daughter is helping me with playtesting and voting and she said the game would be perfect except for the dog that follows you around xD He made her quite frustrated lol. It would also be nice to know which parts of customers orders you have already completed
