Really clever use of theme, congrats! After some time I decided it's just better to let it ride and just merge everything, and it was really fun. Should be proud of this one!

The humour reminds me of Portal, which is already a plus. The art is also fanstastic, congrats on the entry, it's a pretty solid one, hope you guys hit 20 rates!

Just a small piece of feedback, when making top down games, I recommend putting the hitbox just on the character body, this way your head can go on top of stuff, which really sells the 3D illusion!

We are definitely considering continuing work on the game, at least until we realize the initial vision we had for it.

As for expanding the game, that will likely depend on the feedback we get after that, but we’d love to!

First of all, the game looks really good! I think it's still pretty rough on the game feel side, but that shouldn't be hard to fix later in development if you keep working on it. Either way, I'll definitely be following this one closely!
