It did help, turns out I am both blind and can't count. apparently I am not at day 8, since it should unlock by playing past day 7. Thanks for the clarification, I was looking everywhere BUT in the place it's actually located.

The game has no way of explaining either how to implement custom content, or what requirements said custom contents needs to work in game. I have recently started my first ever playthrough, having knowledge that 3D printer, radio, tv and posters exist. I have included a fair amount of all of the above before starting. im around day 8, bought the TV, the game reads videos i have included in the files, but playing them just prompts a message "custom content disabled".
i have looked for HOURS both ingame, and on the internet on how to enable it. i have seen youtubers use custom content even on the unstable build. i have seen videos explaining, that posters need to be a very specifiv resolution, and i have seen that 3D prints need to have specific files attached to them.
all i see is "custom content disabled" when i try to use any of them without ANY hint on what im doing wrong. maybe im just dumb, but for the life of me i can't see the option to enable any of it.
this is both a question for the community, and a hint to the devs. this needs a clearer eplanation.
