LOOT & PORTALS — Player Wiki

"Pick your class. Hunt the loot. Find the hidden portals."

GETTING STARTED

Roll d4 dice for STR/DEX/INT/LUK (reroll as much as you like). You're planning for the class

you want at level 10.

Everyone starts as a jobless Beginner. At level 10, visit the class trainer in that class's

hometown for your 1st job — or stay Beginner forever on its own 5-stage path.

Job advancements: lvl 10 (1st), 30 (2nd), 70 (3rd), 120 (4th), 200 (5th). Each tier adds classic

RPG powers plus a party aura.

Leveling is the only source of AP: 5 points per level, placed manually however you want.

CLASSES (starting mana)

Fighter 36, Thief 54, Archer 72, Cleric 132, Mage 150. Mana regens over time; everyone starts

with 3 blue potions.

Fighter = tank, Mage = AoE damage, Archer = ranged, Thief = crit/evasive, Cleric = healer

(clerics can use mage wands).

GEAR

Drop rarities: Common 70%, Rare 20%, Epic 9%, Legendary 1%. Boss crests: 1%.

Slots: Weapon, Armor, Hat, Gloves, Shield, Shoes. E opens the paper-doll screen; drag gear

onto it.

Class gear is class-locked. COMMON gear is for everyone — level requirement only, no stat

locks. Includes wacky specials (hairbrush, cast iron frying pan, toothbrush...) from bosses and

quest chains.

Twink weapons: low level requirement, huge stats (e.g. a lvl 10 wrench with lvl 70 stats), each

from its own quest chain.

Every item tracks its history: Bram forges, scrolls applied, ward saves. Check the tooltip.

SCROLLS & UPGRADING

Enhancement scrolls at 10/60/90% success, including Weapon ATT and Magic ATT (+5/+2/+1

classic curve).

10 scroll slots per item. Fail without a ward and the item is destroyed.

Three ward types: Weapon Ward, Armor Ward, Death Ward. Bosses drop all three.

Bram the Weapon Smith: fuse 2 identical items into one double-stat version.

POTIONS & SLOTS

Red = HP, Blue = mana. Potion counts show live in the HUD with a low-supply warning.

Number keys 1–5 are draggable slots for spells, potions, and commands. Drag from

inventory.

BOSSES

Any class can fight any boss, in any town.

Respawn timers run 15 minutes to 72 hours of real time (the Bestiary lists each duration).

Save codes carry defeat timestamps — load in past-due and the boss is already waiting.

Wearing a boss's full gear set opens that quest line's hidden portals.

DEATH

Dying costs 5% XP on respawn. A Death Ward Scroll in your inventory blocks it.

COMPANIONS

Recruited through a long quest chain starting at level 10. They fight in formation (fighters

front, clerics back) with their own gear, skills, and auto-potions.

Death is permanent — until you earn a Rebirth Feather from the 3-part Phoenix quest in the

hidden Ashfeather Sanctum and carry it to the altar.

WORLD & NAVIGATION

Circular world map (M or MAP button); your current map glows. The HUD always shows your

next objective.

Hidden portals conceal maps inside maps. A quest-ready popup tells you the moment the last

drop lands and where to turn in.

Portals remember your position — going back returns you to the same spot.

SAVING

Portable save codes carry everything: gear, item history, boss timers, map positions. No

browser storage, so keep your code somewhere safe.
