I see what's happened now. I have different scenes playing out with the different genders of mc, but in that scene I didn't separate everything properly for the girl. Thank you so much for pointing this out. I'll have to comb over the rest of the cutscenes to make sure this doesn't happen again. Play with the male for now if you're still interested in playing.

Hotfix is live, tested it on my end with no issues, fingers crossed this shouldn't happen again

Do you mean the ones in the beginning of the game? Did you pick up the healing items before the fight? There are enough to keep you alive and each of them die in two hits.
