I think your scoring seems pretty favorable considering the sheer amount of entries in this particular game jam. So I wouldn't take it as anything remotely discouraging.
As for my friend and I's game, we've really put in a lot effort into this jam so wherever we ended up wouldn't matter since our main goal is to ship out a game and see what we can learn from it. We ended up in a decent placement than I expected but it doesn't change the fact that there's always something to improve before working on the next game. This was our first game jam and I was really glad to partake in it thanks to the welcoming feedback and having to do more than just learning how to make sprites.
This was a good experience overall and being able to play some of your guys' games was definitely a worthwhile experience through and through. Fantastic work, all of you!

Wow! Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! It really means a lot to the both of us after working so hard to get the game up and running. So hearing how you and many others have been enjoying the game overall really makes me glad how the game ended up.
As for the browser related issue, we'll probably look into it post-jam if time allows us but it's very reassuring to know that the game works as intended through downloads. Again, thank you so much for the detailed review. I'm happy you enjoyed it! :)
Took me a couple tries but was able to get the hang of it and was able to beat the boss. For something simple it wasn't too mind numbingly which is great for a game like this. Only thing that kinda frustrated me was how enemies could sandwich you to death if you happen to get trap between them, but I suppose that's the intention if you make bad movement/bad pathing. Either way, it was pretty fun and interesting!
This was such a good platforming experience. Unfortunately at one point during a respawn, the game starts to break when the spikes wouldn't damage me sometimes but also the rotational blocks starts to bug out, making the game impossible to beat. Regardless, this was very good game and I love the audio and visuals. Good work!
Took a while for me to hang of it but once it did, I was able to play through all the levels just fine. I enjoyed the reaction based timing especially at the last stage. I'd honestly would like to see a game like this get a little more polish given the fixed speed forcing the player to find optimal routes makes it more engaging.
