IOS treats them differently for some strange reason. They same file just different version as HMTL 5 is later version of HMTL.

Update: it have to with version of IOS specifically as different version work with HMTL files differently.

I believe I figure out problem and that have to with file type. In case you didn’t know the file type on Itch is actually HTML5 while yours seem be just HTML which seem to be incompatible with operation perform on IOS devices.

browser is called Safari and it default browser for IOS devices also I tried another browser (by downloading app for it) but that didn’t work. JavaScript is enable for Safari. IOS version is 15.8.5 since that also effect seem to affect safari version.

This is basically my screen when ever I go to the link. It does open but doesn’t display anything else. It may be worth noting I can get itch.io version to work but basically force it into full screen mode (I get annoying pop saying I typing in full screen mode on occasion) to work.

Not answer I was looking for. Since may need be more specific is it available for IOS.

I am wondering if most recent version is playable on all mobile devices or is it only certain platforms that allow it? 

I can answer 1.: I believe that means you completed a achievement now can spend points (if got enough to unlock it) to upgrade your character for new run.
