I'm using Cursor. Their new composer 2.5 model was good enough and cheap enough for me to switch over to it, and its been mostly good so far. Still using gpt-5.5 or opus for plans, then use composer 2.5 to implement.
For asset generation I'm planning on using qwen-image and qwen-image-edit. Luckily I can run those models locally as the game I'm planning on building will need a ton of image assets.
