i agree that the collision was really messy xD, still learning, gonna be at your level one day so watch out :P (gonna take YEARS until i can make something like yours that fast omg)
hehe lemme give you a hint on stuff that can help you, you can interact with the gameboy in his room and the tv remote (these two have a random chance of either making your mood better or worse so be careful :3)
the stuff with blue-ish outline is supposed to be things you can interact with (the shower and fridge has a blue outline too!)

that was soooooo fun i think i haven't spent time on any game as much i have spent on this one which goes to show you dont need fancy stuff to have fun ig but i really love it a lot!!!!!

thank you for the feedback! do you have any suggestions on how to make that feel less confusing? in my mind it made sense cuz the character just moved in and there's a mess everywhere and a bunch of boxes so even the character doesnt know, but maybe there's another way that i can't yet think of to make the whole keys thing less confusing, what do you think my friend?
i love the chaos the longer i survive, the controls of different limbs feel confusing (shift/space/right click/left click/) but the narrative and artstyle are really nice, good choice of music as well :D

Yep the audio thing and the hallway spawning you in the middle each time instead of Infront of the correct room are bugs and we didn't have time to find music, you're absolutely right on all that we were inexperienced and wasted some time, but I'm so glad you enjoyed the art and narrative, huge kudos to my two artists, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment :3
ive been getting reports from other users that the game crashes with them even tho it works just fine with me on microsoft edge and my team tested on chrome and it works fine with them too, not a single crash with any of us, im so sorry
it crashes? it's meant to just have a 2 second cooldown that makes you pause for a bit (sorry there's not animation for grabbing the object and such) but im sorry it crashes with you
huge kudos to my two artists fr, we three had a lot of fun, thank you a lot for trying it out and for the feedback i didnt know something was wrong with the movement because i didnt have time to playtest :( if it doesnt bother you what do you think could be improved? thanks again for trying it out!
BTW keep in mind that it has a bug when you spawn in the hallway you spawn in the middle, it makes it confusing at first but after some runs you'll understand the layout, runs take a few seconds anyway, hope you have fun w it!
Hehe, I felt like the struggle is a part of the game's story telling that I couldn't bring myself to lower it but you're right if you spawn with 3 energy you're doomed xD, and it's a new house so it feels fitting that you don't know where the keys would be or you haven't memorized the layout of your new house yet, still tho I think I could've improved something to make it less of a struggle but I'm so glad that the struggle of the experience came across as that!
