Hi there, nice game!
At the beginning, I got stuck because the controls were shown on the left, so I thought it was a click-based game. Then I realized I could move with the keys.
I think letting the player move and shoot at the same time could be a good improvement.

I really like the cool, slow mechanic you've introduced at the beginning.
