This is such a weird entry for me to rate… While this is unquestionably the best game (tied with a couple others) in the jam I’ve played so far, the rating criteria kinda pull it down. Enjoyment is an easy 5/5. The graphics serve its purpouse well, however I am not really sure if I like them that much. But since I cant point out anything mayor it gets an easy 4/5 in graphics. The music, and sfx are fine. Nothing great or bad. So 3/5 for me. The theme interpretation however, I do not like. This is kinda the most basic possible type of game you could have made for the jam. A lot of games here have the health = stamina approach. This happens to be the best, out of all those games, however I would never recommend this game to somebody else just based on the concept alone. So while this technically fits the theme, it gets a 2/5 for theme interpretation from be, because its so basic and safe.

So overall, while this is one of the few jam games i would actually pay money for (if it had more content), I cant really say I want this game to win, because I’d rather see something more creative/experimental win a jam

I really like this. The camera control feels really weird though. Also I am on linux, and while running the .exe through wine worked fine, a linux build or a webbuild would be nice

Same here

could you please make a linux version? This looks like a really good game for my steam deck

I have the same issue on my steam deck both in the itch and in the steam version (I assume they are both the linux version)

Nice game, this is the most polished looking game for the jam I’ve played so far. A bit of feedback:

  • Please use something other than white for the website.
  • I wish the hitboxes were more forgiving. You accidentally touch the sides or one of the bricks just a tiny bit and die instantly. Maybe a health system would also help?
  • I think it would be helpfull if the bricks showed which direction they will move in before they do it. I died a couple time because a brick ran into me without beeing able to do something about it.
