Awesome! Also, I noticed if you move the tool's window, it maintains that position as long as the app is open. I think it might be desirable to maintain the window position even after quitting and reopening the app. You could have a double click to re-center in case someone wanted it centered again. 

Makes sense - I actually realized the split screen would not do what I was hoping for anyway (which was to be able to right-click-drag to get a stamp from one file and use it on the other - it makes sense why this doesn't work). 

Currently I'm working with layers and going from one to another to grab my stamps (set to the side of my main work area), but I think all I really need to do is have my tiles area of the canvas copied to all layers.

Unrelated - I noticed that undo-redo sometimes doesn't work with color changes or outline tool changes (can't remember which). I also think to NOT shade the work area when the tool window is open would be a good change (because when you preview changes the shading makes it hard to see accurately).

Awesome update as usual! Any chance of being able to have two tabs (projects) visible at the same time with an adjustable split screen? 

Also wondering if it might be cool to have a backup feature: a folder that contains the last 10 save states or something. Asking because I stupidly merged the layers of something I was working on, saved and closed it without remembering to undo it first.

If there's a way to have the state (grid locked vs pixel) persist even when switching between different tools that would be stellar :)

Is it possible to have a key that toggles grid/tile locking (currently you have to hold the cmd key for this, but often we are working for long stretches on stuff that's always tile size relative). Ideally the toggle could apply to all tools that use cmd for grid locking.
