Very cute and very very chill!! love that it's possible to have a SINGLE load-bearing ant

Oh shoot! Thanks a ton! I'll definitely look into it now that ive got more time!!

Thanks! The terrain is really just Godot's basic tilemaplayer! The system is actually really well made and fairly powerful!!!

Thank you!! I'll try to send a ping your way — if you really want an update maybe follow @Rainwad or me...

Wow! You played a few rounds?? I'm glad there's enough there for some people to try it more than once lol

Thanks! I don't know if we can do much about the motion sickness, though... the spinning is fairly essential to the game (maybe there's a version where the camera is stationary for those with motion-sickness?)

We're definitely gonna keep developing it in the (hopefully near) future! If you really like the art, give @Rainwad a follow — or me as I'm gonna rope her into more game jams since she roped me into this one!

Thank you! Shift-clicking will *definitely* be in the final version of the game, but I was rushing to get it —at the very least— in a playable state

The camera is actually even simpler — it's a slightly weighted anchor to the cursor position. I've been practicing abiding by 'kiss' (Keep It Simple, Stupid). The character controls are **extremely** basic with a bit of momentum thrown in there. I really gotta listen to myself instead of re-writing the game 100 times just to get it to work

I haven't heard of Planetoid Pioneer; it looks like a very silly game! Also, of course this game's gonna capitalist critique, but, umm,, i'm glad the incredibly unfinished mechanics are also read as commentary haha

(1 edit)

More effects and animations coming.... eventually. That level's definitely one of the harder ones that golks seem to get stuck on. Good luck! Thanks for making at least 80% through the game!

a hint for that level: (water paths need to b entirely seperate. the left side has two possible paths and needs to take the shorter)

fun mechanics! difficulty seems to take quite a while to ramp up imo

graphics are amazing,, game play is solid,, 9/10 monkeys approve this game (1/10 cant swim)

fun little game. WAY more tense than i expected. good job!

This game is absolutely infuriating — but, like, in all the best ways 10/10

haha, thanks for playing! i really just decided on mechanics and then slammed my head against it until I found some interesting interactions — i swear there's gotta be an easier way lol

Thanky! This was my first actual game — I was really worried that the puzzles would be way to hard or that some of the easier levels didn't quite make things clearer at all.
