Great demo!
If I might offer some feedback here [I am sorry, but I am not opening a Telegram account just to post this one comment]:
While I understand that the weapon text will explain if it works with your Scan Mode, I feel like there should be a visual indicator for when your weapon "auto-aims" while in Scan Mode. Speaking of visual indicators, the incinerator pipes should also have one, or at least the Scan Mode text should inform you how often it spits out flames.
Rebinding keys, having Sprint be toggle-able or held, as well as alternative controls would be nice. When I say "alternative controls" I mean that the differences between "held" and "tapped" sometimes don't register all that well, or the game does something you didn't intend. As an example, the bar you need to grab onto to jump to the stairs progressing to the end of the demo, 2 times out of 4 attempts, I accidentally started wall-running instead of grabbing onto the bar. Maybe it's just a Me problem, but I can see this being a reoccurring problem in particularly tight platforming. Plus the amount of times I got caught off guard by finishing a jump, standing still for a few seconds, and STILL sprinting afterwards without holding the Shift key was more than once or twice...
Lastly, if I might.. Clarify that hacking is algebraic, I feel so stupid having spent so much time on that hacking equation under the scanning eye before the demo end...
