Normally I would agree as avn gamers are one of the most entitled bunch, but you do need to realize this guy is making more from this game than most people make in their day job. One update a year would be really bad at this level. Once devs "make it" they tend to start milking. One of the downsides of pirating culture is that it results in the patreon business model which makes milking a thing. If everyone paid their fair share like a dollar, funding wouldnt be an issue. Of course no one knows if a wip is good until much later. So there is that.
Of course im not a payer so I dont mind waiting or expect anything. But those who are, are getting screwed if they expected a normal dev progression.
