I knew this game thru a Taiwanese famous horror game youtuber, really nice one with great atmosphere,  and the monster is REALLY spooky. The ending cutscene doesn't have any picture or animate so this guy made a short animate for your ending cutscene<3

I had the same problem. 
Have you tried download the itch.io app and download the game directly from the app? it works fine for me after I download my game thru the app, same w/ the demo.
my mac is 10.15.3
