oh yea if you want to do that you can just delete the [Your Country Flag] + [Leader Portrait] sprites for whatever gd4 version you want to load and it'll remove like 100 MB

yea that's intentional, it's called fog of war and it makes it so that you can't see anything beyond your adjacent provinces

ai will never accept trade offers by default, but you can change this

1. go into scenario options (you'll see a button for this on the bottom of the screen when selecting a new basic scenario to play)
2. click the edit ai button in the bottom right part of the screen
3. turn on the comically naive ai option
4. ai will now accept all trade offers you throw at them

when you say they all disappear, do you mean they just aren't visible on the screen or that the moon provinces just turn blank but are still visible? Also, can it fixed by simply going back to earth and then going back to the moon again, or does that not work?

Download the source code, open it using turbowarp, then create a new sprite. This sprite is the custom mod. To edit the mod, just edit the sprite. To export / share the mod with other people, export the sprite.

I already compressed the MP3 files like a year ago but that just reduces the size of the HTML file, not how smoothly it runs.

I could probably make it run smoother by reworking the code for buttons so that button clones that aren't in use will be deleted, but that would take a considerable amount of effort which I currently don't feel like doing at the moment.

GD4 is an HTML file, which means that it should be able to run on any browser. The issue is just that GD4 is extremely poorly optimized, and therefore it might not be able to run on slower computers (like a Chromebook).
