Amazing job! I did not expect to get such a game, but it's far better than I had hoped for! Thank you! :)

I think update v1.3.5 made that possible, and v1.3.6 fixed a bug in it, so relatively recent changes. Please check out the CHANGELOG: ttursas.com/DDR/CHANGELOG.txt

You can also play levels from the level database in the editor (I assume you are just playing the built-in levels) and with those points unlock stuff as well.

Very stange that any of our Flash games would just stop working, haven't heard this happen before. Have you tried a different Flash player? Or move the DD:MIA.swf to another location on your computer (Flash Player stores the settings etc. of a .swf file based on the .swf's location on the computer)?

Great work! Nice to see that this collection is still updated! :)

The downloadable .zip has some OG Flash Players that work even today in modern Windows, but if you google you can find all standalone Flash Players on archive.org (I think it was archive.org)...

Can't wait to hear this stuff with my own ears. :) Also loving the art style!

Looks really nice! Can't wait to get to play it! :)

Guys, remember to check out http://www.ttursas.com for free Drop Dead mods! They are amazing! :)

If the user has bought Drop Dead Collection then the download link should be at least on the email that contains all download links for purchased games. That email can be requested from itch.io. It's kinda difficult, I know, but that's how itch.io works, I guess...

The latest version of Drop Dead: Remains should only be available here as a download ("Drop Dead Collection.zip") after you've purchased the collection here. That's the only way of updating Drop Dead: Remains as far as I know.

Nice to hear you've had good times with Drop Dead games! :) About still working on Drop Dead: Remains, well, old Flash players still work and there are people who still play Drop Dead games so why not? :)

I'm happy to hear you enjoy Drop Dead games. :) PS. I'm right now working on the next update to Drop Dead: Remains

Thank you for sharing this with us! :) Me (Ville) and Jyri are happy that we could create memorable experiences...

Original Drop Dead 2 had in-game store where you could buy e.g. some characters using real money. The Free Edition doesn't have this store.

A small Christmas update to Drop Dead: Remains is coming this Sunday! :)

Keep up the great work! Bought this earlier today, hoping to have time to play it during Christmas vacation... :)

Well, that's a .tar.gz archive, you need to unarchive it

tar -zxvf flashplayer??.sa.linux.x86_64.tar.gz

Then make the player executable

chmod a+x flashplayer

(I'm guessing the executable's name there is "flashplayer")

Then just run the Flash Player and open the .swfs

It's great to hear you had fun with Drop Deads! :) And check out www.ttursas.com if you want to play free Drop Dead mods!

LOL! :D

Amazing work Piggy 18 Team! I'll raise my hat to salute you! Please keep up the good work and never abandon C64!

I recoded Perfect Balance Collection using Unity game engine so that is a native Windows/macOS/Linux exe. Also Drop Dead 3D is made using Unity, and I'm working on a big update to it and at least that's going to be released on Steam if it passes the reviews.

Is it still possible to submit Flash games to Steam? I don't know if that's possible... I do have a wrapper for .swf files that turns them into .exe:s...

No funny/unfunny, you are not coming back

No Discord links are available at the moment as one mentally ill person spammed the channels with racists comments so I had to close all invite links as he kept coming back even after I banned him...

Perhaps the others come in an update later...

I think by redownloading the whole zip file again...

We chat about all things Drop Dead and upcoming updates to Drop Dead: Remains and Drop Dead 3D...

Come and chat about Drop Dead Collection on Discord: https://discord.gg/BKbnGsrEp5

(1 edit)

Drop Dead Collection is a zip file that contains the following Drop Dead games (12) made using flash:

- Drop Dead

- Drop Dead: Extended Edition

- Drop Dead: Final Cut

- Drop Dead 2 (Free Edition)

- Drop Dead 2.5

- Drop Dead 3

- Drop Dead: Remains

- Drop Dead: Players Pack

- Drop Dead: Cannon

- Drop Dead: Escape To Heaven

- Drop Dead: Olympics

- I Want You Dead, Santa

HTML5 would require that I'd learn it and JavaScript and all that's related, so it'd be a big effort and the audience would be limited. Better idea, I think, would be to continue developing that Drop Dead 3D we already have for Android phones, that's using a proper game engine (Unity 3D). Perhaps one day we can publish it for iOS as well...
