figured it out. i guess there is only four at your home stable. if you get into this situation talk to the orc at the camp about leaving mounts there leave your current companion with him then go get the Wolbauk.

okay i'm at a loss. i have a stable have a horse, dog, raptor, wolf. and now a Wolbauk. but when i go to switch the horse for the Wolbauk for that quest it won't let me put my horse in the stable. it just says "you can't leave your companion here." i don't know how to release any on the off chance that is the issue so what do i do?
