Thanks! We indeed wanted to implement speed upgrades, but they sadly had to be cut from the Game Jam release.
Though with luck we hope to add them in to an update!

Thank you for your comments everyone! I see many people commenting on the game balance, and wanted to say we hear you. We were cutting it really close with the jam submission, so we couldn't spend enough time on balancing unfortunately. But thank you for pointing it out!
