Thank you for the feedback! There is a little bit of visual indication, which is that the character in the center has a pose for each direction, but the sprite is pretty small so I could definitely stand to do more on that front; I'm thinking I would add a visual effect + animation accordingly.
First time doing game dev so I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I appreciate your positive comments :')
