This seems really good so far. It's rare that there's a male MC in one of these kinds of games where I actually like them as a character.
My only critique is the the explore system is a little unintuitive for me. The black jack style bust mechanic makes sense, but what makes a good hand for ingredients seems to be more poker-like. I think it's actually really neat as a game mechanic, but just needs a little more explanation. And maybe a way to see what cards you've already flipped in a week without having to track on notepad.
I'll definitely keep check back for updates.
