Good story while I admire the creativity of turning hardships into a story i really am hoping that the work the fans do to counteract this bears fruit. Keep making good stories and you do deserve a good kitty.

is there a way i can DM you a screenshot showing what I am able to download from my library? id post it here but it shows my e-mail and id rather avoid the hassle of editing the screenshot.

will there be some method of acquiring the cheaty version for those who already have paid? I get that you want to avoid de-listing by removing the paid content but its removal seems to be making it impossible for people who paid through itch to access the cheaty and gallery versions. We still have the listing and the screens to prove we paid and the only version we can download distinctly says its the public version.

Tell me if you find this funny. When I played your game I tried the control path, as the story went on I personally found myself enjoying the control path less as the story went on.  This was not a result of the games quality but of how my enjoyment of that particular fantasy lessened as I explored a version of it that asked a few questions about it's implementation. I have to say that with this revelation about your rewrites on Natalie I may find it in me to play that path again.

Im glad i followed you prior to this nightmare. If i had missed updates due to a group of goosestepping prudes blackmailing the payment processors I would have been extremely nettled

Its nothing major, hence hypothesis rather than theory. I just believe that given how pervasive one antagonist's acts of dickotry are if we resolve one reason to despise him we shall find two more in the next update. I call it the "Villainous Plot Hydra Hypothesis". Apologies for being vague on all of it but i don't know how to do spoiler blocks and i don't want to spoil. I would be very surprised if anyone who is up to date couldn't figure out exactly who I am talking about.

sounds like in a couple of updates I will be able to see if my hypothesis about the main antagonist is correct.

Just wanted to update. I got it to work by using the update only files on my update 0.41 install. Apparently whatever bug that was in the fresh install was not on the update only file. Loved the update and I hope the info in this reply helps you with debugging.

tried sudo chmod -R +x path/CrimsonHigh/CrimsonHigh.sh ,after trying to run it in terminal again got the same error except it was on line 64 rather than line 63.

Having an issue with getting a fresh download of the update on linux to run, when i try to run the shell command i get errors saying it is not executable. The exact error listed when i tried running in terminal was

Crimsonhigh.sh: line 63: ~/CrimsonHigh-0.42.1-pc/lib/py2-linux-x86_64/CrimsonHigh: Permission denied

noticed the .04 ver seems to lack linux support. was this intended or just an oversight?

Figured out the issue it was on my end 100%, thanks for the response as it did help me realize I was missing something

I have completed book 1. I have clicked through all the way to being sent back to the title screen and even have a save at the book one end so i have done it multiple times. Book 2 still isnt recognizing that i have completed book 1. What am I doing wrong?
