Cool concept! It is imaginable that some of the melody and chord repetitions sounds like the player trying to play the theme again after being disturbed by the friend that you mentioned. It sounds like the friend is playing in the range where the player's right hand should be. I feel like you could move the friend's notes up an octave or two (or down below to the range of the player's left hand (or even both occationally)) and it would make more sense as it is playing anything without fighting with the player's right hand. Great work!
The tune gives me a vibe of looking through the old family photo book and find a shot where siblings are playing together, one of those photo with shenanigans involved. The chords and melodies hit hard but I really wish there is more drum development happening after it is intrduced. Really beautiful job and hope you finish this one!!!
Love the vocal chops and the speed switch! The arrangement is great but the vocal can use a bit less reverb as it is quite roomy comparing to the other instruments imo. Great work!
