I've discovered some truths about creating things. It's not worth your time to put ideas on a pedestal. Your 'dream game' is only as achievable as your ability to let go of it. You can only create what you are able to create. You can't achieve the impossible. You can only accomplish what you are able to accomplish: the end result of that is just a reflection of yourself.
Ultimately, the route to progress is closing your eyes to your goals. There are no milestones or checkpoints - you have to continue walking and see wherever you end up. Honestly, it's a mistake to have dreams in the first place. This is not the destruction of ambition, but simply saying: I am going to continue no matter what and expectations be damned I'm going to see what is created.
