Quite nice although the hitboxes on the arrows are just… not good.

Microwave.

It’s kinda fun, but not super engaging. I managed to get around 2k points by the end.

basically, I microwaved that. I’m kinda disappointed the forks didn’t blow the microwave up though.

A fun rhythm game, and a pretty creative use of the theme too. instead of there being some countdown or something that goes down, YOU have to count down, to count the number of beats, in order to block attacks and hit them.

It’s pretty fun, especially the last level.

Really unfortunately this one just does not work at all for me (running under WINE on Fedora Linux), the cursor’s X position seems to be stuck in place.

I like the concept, but outside of that the game just doesn’t have all that much substance to it.

No music, and eventually you’re seemingly forced to die by the ceiling closing in on itself anyway…

OH MY DAYS WE HAVE A WINNER. This game is genuinely just a blast. it’s a hilarious concept, a rat delivering pizza or else he FREAKING DIES. The usage of the game-jam theme isn’t the most creative, it’s a regular timer arcade-style, but that’s about the only negative thing I can say about this game.

It’s really fun, it’s got a hilarious story, IT HAS AN ACTUAL INTRO CUTSCENE?! LIKE GENUINELY. THIS IS SUCH A GOOD THING.

Just starting and THERE’S MUSIC??! AND AN INTRO VIDEO???? OH MY DAYS THIS IS ALREADY AMAZING AND I HAVE ONLY JUST STARTED.

Really fun although I accidentally found a strategy that uh. I spam left-mouse button and spacebar, as fast as my not-very-strong arms can do it, and at least for the first two fights it was a winning strategy.

Ow, my arms. I couldn’t finish playing due to no fault of the game, just because this “strategy” was working but it hurts to spam that much.

Uh, the music was neat, although the rest of the audio was uh- …well I instantly recognised the Geometry Dash death sound-

I think that’s fair… to be honest my main issue with the red blocks was that if you wall jump, but don’t immediately move away from the wall despite not moving into it, you’ll die if the wall becomes the red blocks.

Though that one could be fixed by just making the red blocks appear ever so slightly larger than the blue ones, maybe.

(1 edit)

Pretty fun, though the difficulty curve feels like it’s all over the place and the concept is basically just the kind of thing you’d expect with a countdown-based jam.

You have a limited amount of time to get to the goal, although you can boost your timer by collecting things. I am giving slightly extra points for the red zones that make your timer go down faster, that’s a neat idea for routes that are way harder but faster to do.

Could make a good speedrunner game, although the controls are a little slippery and if you squint wrong at the red blocks you’ll die. Seriously, if you just jump slightly next to one you’ll die.

Levels 4, 9, 11 and 12 (didn’t beat the last two yet) are very hard, and the rest are easier but still a little challenging with the later ones.

Visually the game is not too interesting, it’s a squishy cube that moves around an abstract environment with a lighting engine-

O MY DAYS… IT MIKU….

This is genuinely just super fun! wish there was more, although in a way I’m glad there’s not in case it’d get old.

Okay so it does work, but it can only see windows of programs that are also running under WINE. (so Windows Firefox, the WINE regedit, WineMine, Gamemaker, WINE Notepad, etc)

This thing is going to be completely reworked in the future- the version I had previously was an utter mess.

....by that, I mean I already have started the rework like over a year ago--

Are there any plans for a Linux version? it doesn't seem to work under WINE...

I've actually completely restarted the game's development, so it'll be a while before it releases unfortunately.

The gameplay mechanics will be similar to Spore's cell stage and Spore Origins, but the editor will be mainly similar to Spore itself.

Oof, sorry, I completely forgot to check Itch.Io for a while.

Uh, I'm... not 100% sure tbh. I guess just reply to this comment?

It's fine, I probably should've made it more obvious though.

It should be possible to dodge them by slowing down. I'll try to look into that after the jam's finished.
