First game ever made, and I'm quite happy and thrilled with how much I learned from making this. I plan on following through my GDD to get it to be a full game. This has been very fun and will 100% join the next jam.

I’m wondering if the GDDs are being judged or if it’s just the game itself. From what I remember, we were to make a working prototype and make a GDD for what that game would eventually be? 

first for me, I had a very long time desire to become a game dev, but a thousand things would get in the way of it until recently when I just would not let the spark dry and just made it happen with my work schedule

I spent both weekends and a couple sick days working on art, programming, and how to put it all together in Godot. This was my first game ever made, so it was quite a hurdle. Still, I’m happy with the prototype that came out. 

I had a gaming buddy give it a spin and he pointed out quite a few bugs I didn’t see before.

Also, my wife played it and didn’t know any of the controls, so I realized then I needed a how-to-play section in the main menu.
