Great graphics, good soundtrack and an interesting idea. Honestly it's kinda crazy to me that you were able to make something so polished in just a week.

Only problem that I had was that the game didn't quite fit my screen (1080p), so I had to fiddle with the zoom of the browser.

You guys did a great job at balancing difficulty with fun! The game is hard, but it is not frustrating. Also super unique idea

Thanks for the feedback! Me and my friend included countries that would be more familiar to people (we're European if you can't tell haha), since having all countries enabled made the game too challenging.  I've noticed that there's definitely a balance issue with the current setup.  The high concentration of European countries results in many short flights that are hard or even impossible to correct as you mentioned.  Also we definitely need a better tutorial and more visuals/sounds to make the game fun.

Great idea, the concept is really well done! I would suggest some kind of an indicator when the controls get reversed since it can get a bit frustrating. Great narration btw, reminded me a bit of "Getting over it" :D

The pixel art and the vibes are off the charts, amazing!
