It uses popular models from a Japanese online store called Booth. The game uses popular models like Moe, Selestia, Kikyo, Imeris, and a couple others. At the time of my comment they were the most popular Booth models that people would use as their avatars in VRChat (at this time newer models have become way more popular like Manuka, Airi, and Milltina), and there is an entire economy based around people making custom clothing, hairs, skin textures, materials, and more to put on them to make them look even better. I called it default because  all those models are not customized in the slightest other than toggling their basic nsfw textures and deleting their default outfits. Possibly even just taken off of a ripper pirate site instead of being paid for since each model costs like 4000 to 5000 yen and flipped into this "game". I promise you, if someone actually took the time and money to do so, they could make these models look really, really good and customized, especially Selestia or Moe.
