I figured that was the case. I just feel like I'm still struggling with figuring out how to beat both of them since, even if I do beat the first one, I basically run out of steam by the time I get to the second. I feel like I'm still struggling with figuring out how to prepare for this fight properly...

I'm having trouble against the farmer brothers. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to beat them or if the fact that they're like this insurmountable wall for me is another case of me needing to lose to one of them. Am I doing something wrong?
