I'm happy with 1, 2, or 3. I think what's most is that you enjoy making what you want. Whatever makes the most sense for you I'd fully support given how much i enjoyed this game.

Also after high tide event if Nim is hyper the forced festival system breaks
Meeting with Polish (the time where you talk to Page about her research) breaks the character name and resets it to default for the rest of the game.
Both the mimic game over and the Title screen seem to be working for me now. looks like everything is fixed
Same issue with the same version. It also appears that the download version is missing the title screen that's on the browser version.
